A 4 hours Basic Driver Improvement Course (BDI) to avoid points and insurance penalties.

Students typically select this option when they have received a traffic citation and elected to attend traffic school in order to avoid points and insurance penalties

Court Ordered - IDI - Course - 8 hrs 
8 hours Court Ordered /IDI / Course

Select this course ONLY if you have been ordered by a Florida court to attend an 8-hour traffic course. This course is not intended to address court ordered attendance of an Aggressive Driving or DWLSR (Driving While License Suspended/Revoked) course.

DHSMV-Ordered BDI - Traffic Collision Avoidance Course (TCAC) - 4 hrs 
A 4 hours DHSMV-Ordered Basic Driver Improvement Course to avoid Traffic Collision.

Select this course ONLY if you have received notification (usually in the form of a letter) from the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (DHSMV) directing you to attend a 4-hour Basic Driver Improvement (BDI) course.

Employers Ordered Corporate Driver Course - 4 hrs 
A 4 hours Employers Ordered Corporate Driver Course.

Many employers require that an employee who operates a company vehicle must complete a research proven effective driver improvement program as an ongoing condition of employment.

First Drivers License Course (START) - 4 hrs 
A 4 hours Pre-licensing course for new drivers.

Persons who have never held a regular driver license in any state must complete a Traffic Law and Substance Abuse Education course before applying for a learner's permit. This course is not intended to address the requirements of a court for point reduction/ticket dismissal.
